To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.</p> <p>Some examples of qualifying experience are:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in developing and implementing safety and occupational health standards, regulations, practices and procedures to eliminate or control potential hazards. </li><li>Experience developing and implementing programs to reduce the frequency, severity and cost of accidents and occupational illnesses. </li><li>Experience which demonstrates expert knowledge in the safety field to research, propose and develop national occupational safety policy. </li></ul> <p>If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience.
