<p>Job Title: Civil Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a full-time Civil Engineer with a background or interest in water resources and environmental engineering. The position will be based in our Indianapolis office, with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater disciplines. Projects will include treatment facilities, utility distribution, and stormwater and sanitary collection systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete technical design, engineering calculations, and communications duties on various engineering projects, including treatment facilities, stormwater management for site projects and during construction, pump stations, and distribution/collection networks. </li><li>Collaborate with team members as well as work independently to constructively approach challenges and develop solutions. </li><li>Manage multiple tasks while ensuring timely completion. </li><li>Coordinate with technical personnel to develop construction documents and specifications under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines such as Environmental Engineering. </li><li>0-4 years of relevant work experience. </li><li>Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel. </li><li>Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and land development. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Professional experience in engineering is a plus. </li><li>Experience with modeling software such as WaterCad, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, and ICPR is encouraged. </li><li>Desire to obtain Professional Engineer certification. </li><li>Strong verbal and writing skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7AM to 4:30PM and Friday from 7AM to 12PM, with some flexibility. A hybrid work environment is available after 90 days, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
