<p>Job Description</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <p>As a student-focused and driven position, the Assistant Director of College Success is responsible for supporting graduates of urban schools who are attending Wentworth. This position will collaborate with staff to develop, maintain, and execute a robust and thoughtful student support system students involved in Wentworth's College Access and Success programming through the Center for Community & Culture (CCC). The position will focus on developing programming and supporting the CCC's College Access and Success Team to execute the institute's existing Boston Pipeline programming, in addition to the Center's new program, Bridges Academy, which supports students affiliate with the Center through community, college success strategies, and industry connections. The position will support leadership in documentation, and evaluation and assessment practices for the Center's programs, partnerships, and participants.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Student Support & Management (50%): The Assistant Director will be responsible for providing holistic individualized case management for graduates of urban schools who are attending Wentworth, focusing on a student's academic, social-emotional, and financial needs. The position will work across departments to increase the students' access to on-campus and off-campus resources, ensuring students are better prepared to address challenges. The position will collaborate with CCC's College Access and Success Team to develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive student support system for students affiliated with the Center.</p> <p>Program Facilitation (30%): The position will be responsible for supporting the execution of Wentworth's Success programming for students affiliated with the Division for Inclusive Excellence. The position will focus on supporting the following programming: RAMP, Wentworth's pre-college summer transition for Boston youth; Bridges Academy; our Industry Mentor Program. In collaboration with the Director of Campus Culture and Connection, the position will also facilitate dialogues, trainings and workshops for students and student organizations on topics related to culture and community.</p> <p>Internal Collaboration (10%): The position will collaborate with and maintain internal partnerships (Admissions, Success Studio, Student Affairs, etc.) to give students the best opportunity to succeed in higher education as prioritized by CCC's College Access and Success Team. The position shall intend to have a deep understanding of the institute and the internal and external resources available to students in need.</p> <p>Program Development & Assessment (10%): The position will be responsible for supporting the development, evaluation, and assessment of all Success programming, partnerships, and participants in collaboration with Division leadership. The position will be responsible for tracking student touchpoints, access to resources, success and challenges facing each student and the cumulative population.
