This role is</p> <p>designed for a motivated sales professional who can take ownership of revenue</p> <p>performance, drive measurable year-over-year growth, and contribute to overall property</p> <p>success.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales leadership experience</p> <p>4+ years demonstrating proven sales achievement in hospitality</p> <p>Strong computer proficiency and CRM experience</p> <p>Reliable transportation required</p> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> <p>Strong negotiation and presentation abilities</p> <p>Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to move the sales process forward</p> <p>Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking under pressure</p> <p>Empowering leadership style with the ability to inspire and guide team members</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group and corporate transient revenue,</p> <p>exceeding budgeted goals, and delivering sustained year-over-year growth. This position</p> <p>leads strategic sales initiatives aligned with overall property objectives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Lead, direct, and execute all group and corporate transient sales efforts</p> <p>Grow existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business</p> <p>Develop and implement innovative, data-driven sales strategies</p> <p>Create and execute the annual sales and marketing plan</p> <p>Collaborate with Revenue Management and the General Manager to optimize ADR,</p> <p>occupancy, and RevPAR</p> <p>Actively prospect and secure new accounts within the Danbury market</p> <p>Drive monthly room and banquet revenue targets</p> <p>Represent River Link Hotels at networking events, industry functions, and community</p> <p>organizations</p> <p>Provide training, accountability, and leadership to on-property sales support team</p> <p>members</p> <p>Analyze market conditions, competitor performance, and demand trends to identify</p> <p>opportunities</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p>
