<p>Leidos is seeking motivated Systems Engineering Interns to join our dynamic team in Alexandria, VA. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems engineering processes, data analytics, and requirements tracking while contributing to mission-critical projects. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers and have the chance to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. Using tools like Microsoft Excel, JAMA, and JIRA, interns will support requirements tracking, adjudication, and enhancements, while gaining exposure to consulting work across various defense-related programs and initiatives.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support the implementation of requirements to aid in the creation and development of programs. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to assist in requirements tracking and adjudication using systems engineering tools. </li><li>Participate in systems engineering processes, including requirements analysis, data analytics, and programming tasks. </li><li>Contribute to enhancements in JIRA for improved project management workflows. </li><li>Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and challenges. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. </li><li>A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of systems engineering. </li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>US citizenship required. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with programming concepts or systems engineering tools. </li><li>Experience with JAMA, JIRA, Cameo, or similar platforms (not required but beneficial). </li></ul> <p>If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
