<p>In this role, you will be responsible for the sizing, adjusting, and maintaining concrete pavers to ensure optimal performance and the successful installation of high-quality pavement. Your expertise in handling various paving equipment will contribute to successfully completing projects while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up, adjust, and maintain paving equipment to ensure proper operation. </li><li>Ensure paver widths and depths meet project specifications. </li><li>Work with various paver models including: Guntert Pavers, CMI Pavers, Gomaco Pavers, and DBI Pavers. </li><li>Troubleshoot and perform regular maintenance on paving equipment. </li><li>Monitor equipment performance to ensure high-quality pavement production. </li><li>Adhere to safety and quality standards during paving operations. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Technical skills in concrete paving and compaction operations. </li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team to efficiently complete jobs to the highest customer satisfaction. </li><li>Set up and adjust concrete pavers (widths, depths, screed calibration) for optimal performance. </li><li>Troubleshoot and maintain paving equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. </li><li>Work closely with paving crews to ensure smooth and efficient paving operations. </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime. </li><li>Ensure proper calibration for ride quality and smoothness in paving operations. </li><li>Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices. </li><li>Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects. </li><li>Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. </li><li>Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. </li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted. </li><li>Must be able to see and hear well (naturally or with correction.) </li><li>Ability to travel and work overtime, as requested. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual (English and Spanish) </li></ul> <p>This is a safety-sensitive position.</p> <p>This company's policy is to ensure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, or disability.</p>
