<p>PAY & BENEFITS for 2026:</p> <p>Pay begins at $41,556.17 annually for a Customer Service Representative and is based upon applicable experience. </p> <p>In addition to the base salary, this full-time position is eligible for an annual performance bonus as well as a longevity bonus. </p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm</p> <p>Closed on Town-Observed Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.)</p> <p>BENEFITS in 2026 :</p> <p>Paid Holidays: 13 days</p> <p>Paid Time Off : 0-4 years of service = 23 days (7.08 hours per pay period)</p> <p>Longevity Bonus: Based on Years of Service</p> <p>Merit Pay: Based on performance (Annual Salary increase and Bonus)</p> <p> Town Paid Benefits Include:</p> <ul> <li>Short and Long-Term Disability </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Basic Life Insurance (1x Salary or $50k minimum, $10k spouse, & $5k child) </li><li>Retirement Match </li><li>Education Reimbursement </li><li>Free Wellness Programs and Free Gym Access </li><li>Paid Family Leave - up to 6 weeks per year for qualifying FMLA absences. </li></ul> <p>BIWEEKLY Insurance Premium Costs (includes vision & dental)</p> <p>HSA: $20 single $110 family</p> <p>OAP: $25 single $150 family </p> <p>Description: </p> <p>This classification is responsible for customer service duties in the treasury department. Duties and responsibilities include: dealing with the public over the phone and in person relating to the proper acceptance of tax, utility and other monies due the city; balancing invoices and bills, and performing various administrative duties.</p> <p>The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. While this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, management reserves the right to revise the job. Other duties may be required and assigned.</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Collects money via phone, mail, or in-person for various fees, taxes and bills such as property and personal property tax, business license taxes, beer tax, local option sales tax, solicitor and transient vendor permits, building and sign permits, utility bills, and penalties. </li></ul> <p>Report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor</p> <ul> <li> <p>Reviews and processes applications for various types of business licenses. Issues or renews licenses as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides excellent customer service by answering the phone in a timely manner and directing calls to appropriate personnel. Accurately take phone messages when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>As necessary, provides general information on town matters, events, or refers callers to specific departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Checks amount of monies received against billing, enters data into computer and mails or gives receipt to finance. Keeps records on payments received. Accurately records payments and balances to insure accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Deals with the public in person and by phone on routine matters pertaining to billing issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs various administrative duties such as creating records, reports, correspondence, memos, etc. using word processing, spreadsheets, graphs, and PowerPoint presentations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in ordering supplies, materials and other commodities. Maintains inventory of stored items.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts behavior at all times in a professional manner to reflect positively on customer's perception of the town.</p> </li><li> <p>Promotes a teamwork environment. Assist co-workers when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Helps maintain the cleanliness of the work area and facility.</p> </li><li> <p>Any other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>High school diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>Six months clerical experience preferably working with the Public.</p> </li></ul> <p>Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm</p> <p>Closed on Town-Observed Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.)</p>
