This position will provide behavioral health support to patients receiving orthopedic and musculoskeletal care, working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation specialists and other members of the care team.</p> <p>The Psychologist will provide assessment, consultation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patients experiencing psychological, emotional, or behavioral factors that may impact recovery, pain management, functional outcomes and overall well-being.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients within the orthopedic practice. </li><li>Provide individual counseling and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. </li><li>Support patients coping with chronic pain, injury recovery, adjustment to medical conditions and related behavioral health concerns. </li><li>Collaborate closely with orthopedic providers and interdisciplinary team members to develop integrated treatment plans. </li><li>Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Participate in care coordination activities and clinical case discussions as appropriate. </li><li>Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding behavioral health and wellness strategies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or a related field. </li><li>Licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of New Hampshire. </li><li>Experience providing psychological assessment and therapeutic services in a healthcare or medical setting preferred. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. </li><li>Experience working with patients experiencing chronic pain, rehabilitation needs or medical illness is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Why Choose Mass General Brigham?</p> <p>Join an integrated healthcare system recognized for its excellence in patient care, research and education. Compensation is prorated for part-time roles.
