Comprehensive benefits.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? CT teaching certification in Special Education K-12</p> <p>? Experience with students with behavioral needs a plus</p> <p>? Prior experience working with children with special needs a plus</p> <p>? Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> <p>? Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills</p> <p>? Must be highly motivated and self-directed</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Work collaboratively with individual student teams</p> <p>? Provide Case Manager services, including development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals and objectives; liaison with general education teachers; communication with home; running Team meetings.</p> <p>? Attend PPT's and other meetings for assigned students and present up to date information on progress toward goals and objectives</p> <p>? Conduct and present educational testing results, using this information to review and revise current IEP goals and objectives</p> <p>? Collect and manage data pertaining to various student goals and objectives</p> <p>? Ensure that all related services and class accommodations are being implemented in the appropriate settings</p> <p>? Participate in professional development and other meetings with the special education department and school-wide faculty</p> <p>? Adapt and modify curriculum materials and instructional approaches; serve as a resource to the general education staff in regards to working with a diverse learner population</p> <p>? Implement and monitor behavior support and incentive plans for assigned students ?
