<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Operate machines by loading bar stock and unloading parts from the machine. </li><li>Perform machine adjustments to achieve the correct dimensions, finishes and quality. </li><li>Troubleshoot tooling issues on the machine as needed. </li><li>Effectively preset tooling prior to placing into machine. </li><li>Perform any necessary machine adjustments or repairs in a safe manner. </li><li>Identify when tooling needs replaced and change tooling effectively. </li><li>Understand and follow work instructions, set-up sheets, routers, inspection plans and be able to properly set-up machines per customer requirements. </li><li>Effectively gauge and measure parts produced </li><li>5S work area on a daily basis. </li><li>Assist other departments with projects as needed. </li><li>Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>3-5 years Machinist Experience Required </li><li>Familiarity with micrometers and other measuring devices. </li><li>Knowledge of G code preferred </li><li>Understand and complies with ISO procedures </li><li>Ability to read routers and blueprint drawings </li><li>Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Moderate physical effort consisting of: </li><li>Frequently lifting or moving material up to 35 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Note - Promotions/Job Openings: These positions will be offered to qualified team members, taking into consideration demonstrated skills, ability, past and current job performance, current level of discipline, dependability, attendance, and productivity.
