<p>SEASONAL CEMETERY WORKER</p> <p>CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled</p> <p>PAY RATE: $13.80 per hour</p> <p>SCHEDULE: Varying shifts Monday - Saturday</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Cemetery</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of:</p> <ul> <li>Cemetery Grounds maintenance </li><li>Weed trimming around headstones </li><li>Weeding </li><li>Maintaining and cleaning restrooms </li><li>Irrigation Systems </li><li>Light and heavy equipment operating </li><li>Great attitude and able to communicate with citizens in a respectable manner. </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Experience in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills. </li><li>Including but not limited to general landscaping and lawn maintenance and irrigation work. </li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to communicate. </li><li>Ability to learn to operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as mowers, chain saws, pruning equipment, and hand tools. </li><li>Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and the public. </li><li>Must pass a background and drug test. </li><li>Must be 16 years old or older (Preference will be given to applicants 18 and older with a valid driver's license). </li><li>*If some of these qualifications are lacking, we are still interested if you are a hard worker that is willing to learn and be an effective member of the Cemetery team. </li></ul> <p>Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.</p>
