Enter all code information in the HealthQuest system for facility coding in a timely manner. Adhere to compliance regulations set by government, state, & the Cooper Health System to ensure guidelines are met.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <p>0-2 required</p> <p>3-5 preferred</p> <p>Applicant must have demonstrated proficiency in coding multiple outpatient services including, but not limited to: Observation, Multi-specialty Oncology, Same Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Emergency Department, etc. Knowledge of NCCI, OCE and LCDs mandatory</p> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>HS diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Health Information Management / Coding / Billing</p> <p>License/Certification Requirements</p> <p>One or more of the following: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, CCVTC and/or any of the Core Credentials or specialty credential of AAPC or AHIMA</p> <p>Special Requirements</p> <p>Communication - Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkersSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminologyDemonstrated competency of the use of computer applications, hospital information systems, encoder and Microsoft Office applications.</p> <p>Salary Min ($)</p> <p>USD $28.00</p> <p>Salary Max ($)</p> <p>USD $46.00</p>
