<p>Posting Number Stu461P Working Title Summer Weight Fitness FLSA Student Pay Level A Advertised Pay Rate Position Status Regular Student Employment Department Student Emp Wellness Center Job Summary/Basic Function</p> <p>Position may include the handling of cash.</p> <p>Implement facility rules and regulations in all areas of the Wellness Center.</p> <p>Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and machines. Promote Wellness Center programs.</p> <p>Provide prompt, friendly, and professional answers to questions posed by customers.</p> <p>Find coverage for any assigned shift that you may not be able to work.</p> <p>Provide a spot for persons lifting when necessary.</p> <p>Ensure members are re-racking weights and wiping down machines. Keep the Fitness Center's equipment and accessories neat, organized, and clean.</p> <p>Provide first aid when necessary.</p> <p>Ability to learn how to set-up and break- down of equipment used in the Wellness Center.</p> <p>Must be available for morning, late night, and weekend shifts including breaks and holidays.</p> <p>Wear appropriate attire (including staff shirts) for all shifts.</p> <p>Ability to work with people and follow directions.</p> <p>May require heavy lifting.</p> <p>Must be willing to perform custodial/maintenance duties.</p> <p>Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager, Coordinator, Assistant Director, and/or Director of the Wellness Center.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Good communication skills.</p> <p>Must be enrolled/registered for either Summer 2025 OR Fall 2025</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>One or more years of experience in a wellness/recreation setting</p> <p>Posting Date 03/31/2026 Close Date 08/01/2026 Special Instructions Summary</p>
