<p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for the maintenance, repair and proper operation of hospital, refrigeration, air conditioning, evaporative cooling, mechanical ventilating and ice making equipment or equivalent experience.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED Equivalent </li><li>Trade school graduate preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Two years experience in the maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment </li></ul> <p>Certifications/License/Registration:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to make decisions clearly and quickly. </li><li>Must be able to withstand many hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting, and moving equipment. </li><li>Manual dexterity, good eye to hand coordination with adequate vision. </li><li>Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English fluently. </li><li>Must be able to work as a team member with peers and other departments. </li><li>Must be able to cope with agitated, hostile customers and respond calmly. </li><li>Must be able to climb/stand on ladders to work in ceilings. </li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds. </li></ul>
