Rising Ground is headquartered in New York City.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Licensed Clinician will be responsible for providing mental health assessments and treatment services to students and their families within a middle and upper school setting. They will become an integral part of the school community, providing both direct clinical services as well as other supports needed.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Provide school-based mental health services to Junior High School students </li><li>Conduct intake and orientation activities with students and family members </li><li>Provide direct individual and group counseling to assigned students </li><li>Attend SBST and in-house meetings and supervision </li><li>Maintain clinical records in an Electronic Health Record and ensure that all documentation is timely, thorough, and youth centered </li><li>Conduct home visits as needed </li><li>Develop a physical and mental health workshop series </li><li>Refer students to academic and personal support services as needed </li><li>Maintain a rigorous caseload of clients and provide regular and as-needed clinical services </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Your Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must possess a valid NY state clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LCAT, LMFT, LMHC) </li><li>Limited Permit holders considered </li><li>Previous clinical experience, especially in a school setting, preferred </li><li>Knowledge of family systems; Strong writing, oral and interpersonal skills </li><li>The ability to work independently; Strong computer literacy </li><li>The ability to occasionally work evening and Saturday hours </li><li>Spanish speaking is preferred </li></ul> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
