<p>Job Title: Material Handler</p> <p>Reports to: Production Manager</p> <p>Department: Production</p> <p>Summary: _<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Operate material handling equipment for accurately picking material to be used in production, replenish production stations as needed, and assist Filling Line Operators with meeting production demands as needed.</p> <p>Duties: _<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>__</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Must be able to attain certification to operate material handling equipment.</p> <p>High level of attention to detail.</p> <p>Take upcoming work orders and pull all necessary materials (boxes, cans, labels, etc.) and place in designated staging areas to keep production flowing with little to no downtime.</p> <p>Keep back dock clean.</p> <p>Take empty skids and skins to warehouse for storage.</p> <p>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment that contributes to 5S.</p> <p>When required, handle incoming stock from receiving and place in proper location.</p> <p>Other duties as required.</p> <p>Competency: _<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:</p> <p>Adaptability - Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events; adapts to changes in the work environment.</p> <p>Attendance/ Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.</p> <p>Ethics - Treats people with respect; inspires the trust of others.</p> <p>Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.</p> <p>Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.</p> <p>Qualifications: <strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>__</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
