<p>Job Title: RF Field Engineer/Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced RF Field Engineer or Technician to join our team, specializing in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) networks. This role involves engaging in RF site installation, configuration setup, system alignment, commissioning, line-sweeps, testing, and fault diagnosis during the implementation of operational LMR networks. Utilizing PC-based programs, schematics, and other design packages and drawings, you will ensure seamless operations and system functionality.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform RF site installation and configuration setup. </li><li>Conduct end-to-end system alignment and commissioning. </li><li>Execute line-sweeps and testing on operational LMR networks. </li><li>Diagnose faults during implementation using technical drawings and design packages. </li><li>Provide technical troubleshooting support to program teams, customers, and co-workers via telephone or on-site visits. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in radio systems and RF communication. </li><li>Experience in radio frequency, amateur radio, and ham radio. </li><li>Competency in electronics testing and installation. </li><li>Knowledge of voltage and two-way radio systems. </li><li>Expertise in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and RF testing. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Information Technologies. </li><li>Experience with RF systems and telecommunications. </li><li>Military or defense experience. </li><li>Information Technology experience. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role offers a remote work setting with travel requirements via a company car to customer and tower sites in Salt Lake City (SLC). Equipment or parts can be obtained from the warehouse in UCA.
