<p>Supply Chain Intern</p> <p>Ducommun is seeking summer interns to join our team for a 10-week internship, from 05/25/2026 to 07/31/2026.</p> <p>Who are we?</p> <p>Founded in 1849, Ducommun is the oldest company in California. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.</p> <p>Our Facility in Carson, CA is our Engineered Products Group location, which houses our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, Radiofrequency Departments.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communicate with suppliers on order status, update open order reports and delivery dates in MRP and escalate issues to internal stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Review inventory levels of consumable material and work to enhance existing VMI programs to minimize risk of shortages</p> </li><li> <p>Streamline the process for maintaining the Approved Supplier List with the objective of creating a portal that allow suppliers to update and maintain their own survey information.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency with computer usage and knowledge of Microsoft Office.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of Supply Chain principles</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, and critical thinking skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work with cross-functional teams and present actions and information to stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and documentation skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Experience and Education</p> <ul> <li> <p>Upper-level student studying Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or similar from an accredited College or University.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be continuing education post internship.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a US Person</p> </li></ul> <p>Base Compensation: USD 21.00 - 22.00 Paid Hourly</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>23301 S.
