<p>The Manager of Compliance provides leadership and direction to ensure SPS operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures. This role is responsible to foster a culture of ethics, integrity, accountability and transparency while promoting best practices for the organization. The Manager of Compliance works closely with the VP of Compliance and leads efforts to identify compliance risks across the organization, develops plans to monitor ongoing adherence to legal and regulatory standards and supports the development and implementation of corrective action, when applicable. The Manager of Compliance assists the VP of Compliance in providing oversight and guidance to all members of the Compliance Department and provides guidance to all Departments and service lines within the organization. The Manager of Compliance works closely with government agencies, regulators, internal and external counsels to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.</p> <p>Principal Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in regulatory examinations </li><li>Research legal requirements for various mortgage servicing operational areas </li><li>Review regulatory disputes </li><li>Lead change management process </li><li>Consult and guide internal audit and compliance testing </li><li>Research and refer suspicious activities in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>5+ years' experience in banking/mortgage banking, consumer credit operations, operating as compliance professional. </li><li>Knowledge of banking/mortgage banking and consumer credit operating structures and procedures, bank regulatory supervision, core business products, short- and long-term business objectives. </li><li>Strong knowledge and understanding of federal and state regulations and their applicability in the banking/mortgage banking and consumer finance environment. </li><li>Highly effective leadership/motivational/management/advocacy skills. </li></ul> <p>Location: Salt Lake City, UT</p>
