Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Director, AI Transformation provides enterprise level leadership for high priority, high value artificial intelligence and automation initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic vision. This role leads and governs a cross functional AI delivery team (Tiger Team) responsible for rapidly translating executive priorities into scalable, compliant, and outcome driven AI solutions. This leader partners closely with executive operational and technology stakeholders to architect innovative initiatives that deliver measurable results while executing the RUSH AI Strategy. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.</p> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Required Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field </li><li>3-5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, analytics, or data driven transformation roles </li><li>3+ years in a leadership or program lead role managing cross functional teams </li><li>Strong understanding of healthcare data domains (clinical, financial, operational) </li><li>Proven experience leading high pressure, executive driven initiatives </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in informatics, data science or relevant discipline </li><li>Experience leading AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics programs in healthcare </li><li>Familiarity with EHR data (e.g., Epic), enterprise data platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Workday), and BI/analytics tools </li><li>Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and model risk management </li><li>Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma leadership experience </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Executive leadership and influence </li><li>Data driven decision making and critical thinking </li><li>AI/analytics strategy and delivery execution </li><li>Risk management and governance </li><li>Clear, concise communication under pressure </li><li>Strong accountability and ownership mindset </li><li>Operates with urgency in ambiguous, high impact situations </li><li>Balances speed, innovation, and risk </li><li>Hands on leader with strong follow through </li><li>Outcome focused and enterprise oriented </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer:</p> <p>The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Tiger Team Leadership & Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Act as a catalyst to accelerate AI deployments, closely working with applications teams. </li><li>Lead and coordinate cross functional Tiger Teams (business analysts, data engineers, AI/ML specialists, clinicians, operations, vendors) </li><li>Map current state workflows </li><li>Investigate high value workflows </li><li>Prioritize and sequence work based on enterprise value, and urgency </li><li>Serve as escalation point for issues related to data, models, workflows, and adoption </li></ul> <p>AI & Analytics Program Execution</p> <ul> <li>Direct rapid assessments of AI/analytics use cases, including feasibility, risk, data readiness, and expected value </li><li>Guide development of AI functional requirements, use case roadmaps, proofs of concept, and production deployments </li><li>Ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, analytics standards, and architectural principles </li><li>Oversee model lifecycle activities including validation, monitoring, and performance review </li></ul> <p>Governance, Risk & Responsible AI</p> <ul> <li>Ensure AI and analytics solutions comply with HIPAA, data privacy, security, and healthcare regulatory requirements </li><li>Partner with legal, compliance, and cybersecurity teams on AI governance, responsible AI, bias mitigation, and explainability </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Executive Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Act as a trusted advisor to clinical, operational, and executive leadership </li><li>Translate complex analytics and AI concepts into clear, actionable executive communications </li><li>Manage expectations, tradeoffs, and timelines in high visibility initiatives </li></ul> <p>Performance, Outcomes & Value Realization</p> <ul> <li>Define KPIs, success metrics, and benefits realization plans for AI and analytics initiatives </li><li>Track outcomes related to quality, efficiency, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and clinician experience </li><li>Produce concise executive deliverables (issue briefs, decision memos, dashboards, outcome summaries) </li></ul> <p>Team Development & Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Mentor Tiger Team analysts and leads in advanced analytics and AI delivery practices </li><li>Promote repeatable playbooks, templates, and lessons learned from Tiger Team engagements </li></ul> <p>Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
