Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.</p> <p>How you'll contribute</p> <p>A Business Office Manager who excels in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Accurately records and reports census and admission information. </li><li>Serves as additional point of contact regarding benefit determination within departmental timelines. </li><li>Performs upfront collections, financial counseling and data processing </li><li>Ensures accurate capturing and posting of financial activity and maintains accounts receivable at amounts appropriate for payer and acuity mix. </li><li>Actively works with the Utilization department to ensure pre-certifications, certifications, and appeals are completed accurately and in a timely manner. </li><li>Corresponds effectively with commercial and managed care payers. </li><li>Performs insurance benefit verification and financial counseling in a timely manner. </li><li>Reviews deposits to ensure accuracy and balances cash daily. </li><li>Ensures accurate records of financial transactions for the facility. </li><li>Assists the Financial Counselor to ensure payments are received by clients. </li><li>Displays fiscal responsibility. </li></ul> <p>Why join us</p> <p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
