<p>A Kforce client is seeking a Corporate Controller (Senior Director) to join their team in Providence, RI. This client is a large global publicly traded manufacturing/technologies company. The Corporate Controller reports into the CAO and will lead strategic finance and day-to-day accounting functions for a $2B+ publicly traded company. This role will lead a team, including Manager and Senior Manager level reports.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days/week in office. Competitive compensation including 25% bonus and annual equity grants.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>The Corporate Controller leads day-to-day accounting functions including month-end close, financial consolidation, and overseeing the preparation of financial statements </li><li>Ensure GAAP compliance on a variety of complex technical transactions (including revenue recognition, SEC filings, inventory, fair value accounting, stock-based compensation and FX/hedging </li><li>Preparation and review of financial reports and budgets with the executive leadership team </li><li>Involved with strategic planning and decision making across various business units </li><li>Responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing of high performing leaders and their teams to achieve excellence and continuous growth* Big 4 CPA with 15-20 years of experience, in a large (public) corporate environment </li><li>Strong technical skills including revenue recognition, inventory, acquisitions, and SEC </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills leading + mentoring teams </li><li>Team player with strong business partnering skills </li></ul>
