<p>Position Summary This position is responsible for coordination of all manufacturing activities for the shift or group assigned. This is an off shift position. Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises all employees assigned to the shift or group. </li><li>Conducts problem solving for all manufacturing issues that arise. </li><li>Reads and analyzes: charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluates current production estimates and outputs. </li><li>Confers with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. </li><li>Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. </li><li>Inspects materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. • Demonstrates equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees or assigns new employees to experienced workers for training. </li><li>Observes work and monitors gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. </li><li>Confers with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. </li><li>Inputs information into electronic time and attendance system. </li><li>Assists HR with discipline and termination of employees. </li><li>All other duties as assigned by manager.
