We are training the next generation of Christian leaders to take the cross to more job sites, churches, industries, and nations than ever before.</p> <p>Point University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Introduction to Psychology for its Dual Enrollment program, which serves students from public school systems, private schools, and homeschool settings.</p> <p>The course provides a study of psychological structures and functions, designed to help students better understand themselves and others. This course is a prerequisite for all other psychology courses.</p> <ul> <li>A master's degree or equivalent credential is preferred; a doctorate is preferred. Applicants with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the subject area or significant professional experience in a relevant field may be considered. </li><li>Prior online teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred </li><li>Effective teaching ability/excellent communication skills </li><li>Basic computer literacy </li><li>Experience with Canvas LMS preferred </li><li>Willingness to be a role model and mentor to students </li><li>Commitment to undergraduate education, professional growth, service, and scholarship in a distinctively Christian setting, including agreement with the University's mission and goals, values, and doctrinal statement. </li></ul>
