<p>Grade 5 Teacher Memorial Elementary School</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Create lesson plans that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students </li><li>Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans </li><li>Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities </li><li>Employ a variety of instructional strategies that engage students at a high level </li><li>Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established district and state curriculum standards </li><li>Regularly assess and monitor student progress and achievement </li><li>Utilize various curriculum resources and technologies to enhance student learning </li><li>Create a positive classroom environment that supports effective teaching and learning </li><li>Manage student behavior in the classroom through implementation of behavior strategies </li><li>Regularly communicate student progress with parents/caregivers </li><li>Maintain accurate records </li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development/training </li><li>Attend required faculty/staff meetings </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution </li><li>Massachusetts Elementary Certification required </li><li>A demonstrated belief that each student can achieve at high levels </li><li>A demonstrated dedication to lifelong learning, reflection, and continued personal and professional growth </li><li>Excellent Interpersonal and collaborative teamwork skills. </li></ul> <p>Salary: Per Unit A</p>
