<p>B & H Job Description</p> <p>Job Title:</p> <p>Shipper 2</p> <p>Division/Department:</p> <p>Fulfillment</p> <p>Reports to:</p> <p>Approved By:</p> <p>Viewed By:</p> <p>Human Resources- NJF</p> <p>Scheduled Hours</p> <p>Sunday 9AM-6PM & Monday to Thursday 12PM-8PM</p> <p>Last Reviewed:</p> <p>Job Overview: Experienced Shipping associates are responsible for storing, verifying, and preparing merchandise for shipment including but not limited to selecting packaging, staging, moving product via U-boat, and labelling.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes Use RF Scanner and Warehouse Management System to complete shipment process for large items Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer's orders Pack and seal boxes following standard procedures</p> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <p>As assigned by the manager</p> <p>Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day) Attention to detail and ability to count Must be able to locate and identify specific items Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures</p> <p>Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:</p> <p>Minimum 1 year experience in a Warehouse High school diploma or equivalent required.</p> <p>Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:</p> <p>Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
