<p>EJP's sister company, Red Hed Brass Manufacturing, is seeking a well-rounded individual with basic mechanical and shop skills and knowledge to join their machine shop team located in Lincoln, RI!</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have experience in machining, assembly, and possess mechanical knowledge. Red Hed Manufacturing is leading the challenges of waterworks brass by providing the only brass goods line that is truly LEAD-FREE. After years of research and combined efforts with our suppliers of materials, our Manufacturing Plant continues to produce the highest quality, longest-lasting service brass in the industry.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Machining operations on the space saver flanges. </li><li>Inventory; stocking and picking of parts. </li><li>Assemble components according to engineering drawings and specifications. </li><li>Perform welding tasks as needed. </li><li>Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. </li><li>Handle tooling setup and adjustments. </li><li>As available and needed, eventually will be cross trained on the CNC machine. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of manual lathe, vtl, drill presses, and mills preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of how to use measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gages. </li><li>Knowledge of deburring tools a plus! </li><li>Must be reliable and punctual. </li><li>Physical requirements include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, kneeling, reaching, standing, and pulling for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must work well with others, teamwork is essential to role. </li></ul> <p>Education: Vocational school or 1+ years' experience in machining or a related field.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Health </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>401k with Employer match </li><li>Vacation & Personal time </li><li>9 Paid Holiday's & more! </li></ul> <p>E.J.
