The Part Time Grants Coordinator provides oversight to specific grant-related projects, ensuring that project deliverables are completed as planned on time and on budget. This role demands an understanding of the importance of collaboration, joint promotion, multi-tasking, and working among agencies with different requirements.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>On-campus & Remote Hybrid work: This position will require on-campus work hours, as well as flexible remote work opportunities. This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance in the office environment, either physically on campus or virtually via video conferencing software.</p> <p>Grant Coordination</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assist the grants manager with budget preparation and tracking to ensure alignment with funding requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the grants manager in the development and submission of grant proposals by gathering necessary documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Help track deadlines and maintain records for grant compliance and audits.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in identifying potential funding sources to support ongoing projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Help maintain organized records of grants and ensure adherence to guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with stakeholders as directed to ensure objectives and requirements are conveyed effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional duties may be assigned as needed.</p> </li></ol> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p> <p>Competencies</p> <ol> <li> <p>Self-Starter/Promoter.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Capacity.</p> </li><li> <p>Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Thoroughness.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration Skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication Proficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility.</p> </li></ol> <p>Supervisory Responsibility</p> <p>This position has no current supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, and fax machines.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.</p> <p>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work</p> <p>This is a part-time staff position, and general hours of work and days are scheduled Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position is 19 hours per week, not to exceed 999 hours per year.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>A valid US driver' license with a safe driving record is required.</p> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ol> <li> <p>High school diploma required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to act independently and apply creative problem-solving to analyze project processes and make sound recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Highly developed communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to effectively lead project teams, both in a physical and virtual team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and project management.</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Education and Experience</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, finance, public administration, communications, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience in grant management, budgeting, or project management is strongly preferred.</p> </li></ol> <p>For optimal consideration of your applicant file, faculty applications must include a cover letter; current Resume or Curriculum Vitae; a statement of teaching philosophy; and the contact information for three professional references with your application.
