<p>Job Title Summer 2025 Butterfly House Manager and Maintenance Worker Department Parks Family Outdoor Center Job Description/Duties</p> <p>We are looking to hire a student to work and manage the new butterfly house at Antlers. You would also work along side of our caretaker as time and tasks allow. Jobs will vary throughout the 10 weeks based on need, space availability, and the like.</p> <p>Required: demonstrated experience with gardening, ability to talk with the general public, able to work with others and independently, experience with basic landscaping (mowing and weed whacking) and tool knowledge (hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, drill, etc.). Physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, stoop and be on feet for long periods of time. A positive attitude is a must!</p> <p>Preferred: experience driving motor boat operation</p> <p>Days/Hours Needed</p> <p>40 hours per week for 10 weeks summer 2024</p> <p>Campus Location/Bldg.</p> <p>Antlers Raquette Lake</p> <p>Please note, the position includes room and board at Raquette Lake.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Must have experience related to biology, education or recreation or sciences.
