<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Position:</p> <p>Long Term Substitute Athletic Director</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>11:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday Additional site supervision of home games and occasional Saturdays as needed</p> <p>Duration:</p> <p>August 18, 2025 (continuing through December 2025)</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The Athletic Director (AD) will manage and coordinate all aspects of the high school and middle school's athletic programs, ensuring smooth operations, strong communication, and positive experiences for student-athletes, coaches, and families. The AD will work collaboratively with school administration, athletic department administrative assistant, coaches, town departments, and community organizations. The Athletic Director will:</p> <p>Manage school athletic programs & communications</p> <p>Oversee team rosters, student eligibility & CIAC reporting</p> <p>Coordinate schedules, facilities & event staffing</p> <p>Supervise coaches and transportation</p> <p>Support social media & promote athletics</p> <p>Handle parent, coach & student concerns</p> <p>Conduct surveys & evaluations of programs</p> <p>Regularly meet with school leadership</p> <p>Certification: Teacher or Admin Certification required and Coaching Certification preferred</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Strong organizational & communication skills</p> <p>Athletic administration or coaching experience preferred</p> <p>Familiarity with CIAC policies & digital platforms</p> <p>Salary & Benefits:</p> <p>$180 per day with additional compensation as site director per the established pay schedule for site supervision duties.
