<p>Job Description:</p> <p>We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Legal Department. This role provides a wide range of administrative support and requires strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with professionals and customers. Ideal candidates will have experience in a legal or title company setting, a high level of attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.</p> <p>This is a fully in-office position based out of our Minnetonka, MN location. Remote work is not available.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Process incoming claims by gathering necessary information from various databases </li><li>Open, sort, and distribute claims-related mail and faxes </li><li>Answer and respond to claims inquiry telephone calls </li><li>Copy and scan claim documentation </li><li>Collect and distribute Federal Express packages </li><li>Request agent files and develop knowledge of the claim system </li><li>Open or assist in opening incoming claims </li><li>Draft and send claims acknowledgement and coverage letters </li><li>Research claims to determine coverage </li><li>Order title searches and research public records to verify identity or date of death </li><li>Submit title documents for recording in county public records </li><li>Request checks for legal fees or settlement payments </li><li>Process recovery checks </li><li>Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements </li><li>Complete mandatory company compliance training by prescribed deadlines </li><li>Maintain dependable, reliable, and punctual attendance </li><li>Collaborate and interact professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers </li><li>Demonstrate courtesy, flexibility, and responsiveness to team and customer needs </li></ul> <p>Who You Are:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook </li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under time constraints </li><li>Highly attentive to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills </li><li>Independent and proactive with sound judgment </li><li>Clear and professional in written and verbal communication </li><li>Mindful of nonverbal communication and actively listens </li><li>Personable, positive, and professional in all interactions </li><li>Able to foster and maintain collaborative working relationships </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Be part of a respected and collaborative legal team </li><li>Gain exposure to claims processing, legal documentation, and title research </li><li>Opportunities for growth and development within a stable organization </li><li>Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your contributions are valued </li></ul> <p>#LI-AO1</p> <p>The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work.
