This position is also responsible for the protection of patients, employees, visitors, and their property.</p> <p>Security Police Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Completion of the Public Safety Security Officer training program is due within three (3) months from the date of hire or transfer. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or G.E.D. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>One-year prior experience in a law enforcement, fire or security-related job preferred. </li><li>Must be able to successfully undergo a comprehensive background and character investigation. </li><li>Valid driver's license and verification of insurability under TidalHealth's automobile insurance plan. </li></ul> <p>Security Police Schedule</p> <ul> <li> <p>May be assigned to a permanent day, evening, or night shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Usually scheduled off every third weekend.</p> </li><li> <p>May be requested to work overtime on occasion.</p> </li></ul> <p>Security Police Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non-12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.</p> </li><li> <p>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $17.20 - $24.94 Commensurate with experience</p>
