<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: City of Wheeling - WHEELING, WV</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Description</p> <p>GRASS CUTTER</p> <p>PART TIME- $12.00 an hour</p> <p>GENERAL PURPOSE:</p> <p>To perform various duties as instructed relating to the outdoor maintenance of the City of Wheeling.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Cut Grass</p> <p>Work Zone Safety</p> <p>Maintain and operate various equipment as required, including cleaning, greasing, washing and reporting to the supervisor any maintenance requirements.</p> <p>WORK ENVIORNMENT</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works outside in all weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions and loud work environment.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hand and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; talk; hear; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; and smell. The employee may occasionally have to lift up to 50 lbs.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Must be at least 18 years of age.</p> <p>Knowledge of equipment</p> <p>Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing when necessary; ability to observe proper safety precautions; ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and the public; ability to perform manual tasks under varying weather conditions.</p>
