<p>Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.</p> <p>Reports to: Phlebotomy Supervisor</p> <p>Under the supervision and direction of a medical technologist and under CLAI88 guideline, performs pre- and post- analytical test processing areas of the clinical lab which may or may not include the following:</p> <p>A. Placing specimens on the automated analyzers for analysis</p> <p>B. Processes microbiology specimens for routine culture analysis</p> <p>C. Performs waived and moderate testing platforms</p> <p>E. Logging and distribution of patient test specimens from the processing areas in the lab to the respective test areas</p> <p>F.
