<p>OUR MISSION: To fulfill President Lincoln's promise "To care for those who have served in our nation's military and for their families, caregivers, and survivors" - by serving and honoring the men and women who are America's Veterans. How would you like to become a part of a team providing compassionate whole health care to Veterans?</p> <p>This is a multidisciplinary announcement. This position may be filled by either a Nurse, Social Worker, or Pharmacist.</p> <p>The role of the Women Veterans Program Manager (WVPM) is to assess the need for services for women Veterans and implements services for eligible women Veterans as well as to provide oversight to ensure that identified needs are met. Executes comprehensive planning for Women's Health (WH) issues that improves the overall quality of care provided to women Veterans and achieves program goals and outcomes. Provides facility guidance regarding change implementations as directed by Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) while working across multiple service lines and disciplines.</p> <p>The SW - WVPM is also responsible for the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Executing comprehensive planning for Women's Health (WH) issues that improves the overall quality of care provided to women Veterans and achieves program goals and outcomes. </li><li>Providing facility guidance regarding change implementations, as directed by Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), while working across multiple service lines and disciplines. </li><li>Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating WH care based on age-specific components. </li><li>Influencing care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. </li><li>Actively participating in the unit/program level quality improvement process and initiatives as well as customer service programs. </li><li>Assessing the improved quality of clinical care; collecting, developing, and analyzing data derived from these programs to assist in planning for women Veterans' services. </li><li>Using appropriate clinical indicators and monitoring activities to assure that the care provided is of the highest quality. </li><li>Ensuring the coordination and provision of sex-specific and gynecological services. </li><li>Serving as an advocate to women Veterans by identifying issues pertinent to their care and mobilizing resources for resolution. </li><li>Developing collaborative relationships internally and externally to facilitate outreach to identify and engage women Veterans. </li><li>Serving as a consultant to other facility personnel involving all aspects of care for women Veterans. </li><li>Other duties, as assigned by the Chief of Staff. </li></ul> <p>The incumbent will have clinical duties commensurate with their licensure, education, and training no more than 10% of the time in this role, which will support the Women's Health program.</p> <p>Work Schedule: Monday- Friday- 8:00am- 4:30pm</p> <p>Telework: Available; Ad-hoc</p> <p>Virtual: This is not a virtual position.</p> <p>Functional Statement #: 08790F</p> <p>Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized</p> <p>Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized</p>
