If you have a passion for operating and maintaining high-speed automated assembly machines and are looking for your next career move, apply now.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are looking for an Assembly Technician to ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and quality control of high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines. This position will be full-Time and onsite located in Tullahoma, NC. Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts, 6am to 4:30pm.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for the safe operation of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines</p> </li><li> <p>Makes complex repairs and major adjustments to assembly equipment, including set-ups and changeovers</p> </li><li> <p>Performs quality checks per the quality inspection plan (QIP) and documents specified measurements per print at required intervals</p> </li><li> <p>Performs daily/weekly/monthly preventive and routine machine maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Performs tooling adjustment (e.g., sharpening/conditioning, checking height of spring-loaded pins (pin-out), keying features, bend stations, insertion stations)</p> </li><li> <p>Replaces sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, belts, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Adjusts housing feed based on associated standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Uses height indicator, ram optic, gauges, and microscopic visual checks</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies and re-sets machine faults, clears jams, restarts production, removes and packages finished product</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Acquires basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures; generally, has little or no prior relevant training or work experience</p> </li><li> <p>Follows established procedures to accomplish tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, understand, and follow complex work instructions and product specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality</p> </li><li> <p>Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a clean room environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to safety and quality standards</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to read signage, understand documentation, and communicate processes</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person</p> </li><li> <p>Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodation statement</p> <p>If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.</p> <p>$17.00</p> <p>The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
