DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES</p> <p>The scope of the proposed services will include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Design the vision and blueprint of an organization's data framework. </li><li>Design and manage data systems, set policies for how data is stored and accessed, coordinate various data sources within an organization, and integrate new data technologies into existing IT infrastructures. </li><li>Data modeling and design, including software development and database administration. </li></ul> <p>II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Years</p> <p>Required/Preferred</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>10</p> <p>Required</p> <p>Professional experience in data ecosystems writing SQL queries, building ETL pipelines, and designing data architecture.</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Preferred</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.</p> <p>2</p> <p>Preferred</p> <p>Prior experience working with public health agencies (e.g., CDC, NIH, or State Departments of Health) to modernize legacy data infrastructures.</p> <p>Note: Expected Start Date 07/01/2026 and Expected End Date 06/30/2027. May not be extended beyond June 30, 2029.</p> <p>Hours worked should be within the State's core hours of 7:00 AM CT to 6:00 PM CT. In addition, Contractor personnel may be required to work on State holidays, weekends and hours outside of the State's core business hours in order to meet critical deadlines.</p>
