Our company is made up of people who value honesty and genuine relationships, and our success stems from thoughtful planning and commitment to quality.</p> <p>About your new Career:</p> <p>Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of one of the largest privately owned Real Estate developers and Property Managers in the nation, currently seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time position at Del Mar, a beautiful community in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.</p> <p>Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential apartments, common areas, and facilities. </li><li>Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems. </li><li>Perform painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs as needed. </li><li>Assist with apartment turnovers and ensure units are in top condition for new residents. </li><li>Respond to resident maintenance requests in a courteous and efficient manner. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and equipment. </li><li>Collaborate with the property management team and fellow maintenance staff. </li></ul> <p>Note: These responsibilities are a general summary of the job duties performed. Other duties may be required, as needed.</p> <p>Other requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed </li><li>Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community. </li><li>Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required. </li><li>Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the public by speaking/reading/writing English. </li></ul> <p>To be successful, your background should include:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in residential maintenance, preferably in upscale apartment communities. </li><li>Strong knowledge of basic maintenance, including drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, and appliance troubleshooting.
