We believe that our collective efforts will shape a healthier future for the communities we serve.</p> <p>Department/Unit Summary</p> <p>Assists in maintaining a safe, functional, clean and attractive physical environment for patient, guests, and employees. Performs, with minimal supervision, a variety of plant maintenance tasks under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager. Performs plan operations assessments, equipment testing, and documents as required. Performs safety and preventative maintenance inspections and documents as required.</p> <p>How you'll contribute</p> <ul> <li> <p>Effectively performs routine and incident specific maintenance tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans, and policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in assuring a safe and risk preventative environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with MSDS regulations and ensures documentation is current within the guidelines required by law.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in any emergencies that may arise, as requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspects safety of all patient areas, bathrooms, outside areas, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures adequate preventative maintenance of building facility/equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes safety inspections as instructed by Plant Operations Manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Tags and inspects all electrical equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Disposes of infectious/contaminated waste from the facility.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains hospital grounds in a neat and attractive manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows blueprints, sketches, and operational manuals for maintenance and repair projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes necessary safety precautions when handling tools and equipment. Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements helpful.</p> </li><li> <p>License: Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional Requirements: Must show proof of automobile insurance.
