<p>Resident Services Manager</p> <p>1st and 2nd shift availability! Flexible schedule!</p> <p>Be part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional, person-centered care in an environment that champions resident dignity, independence, and rights. As a Resident Services Manager at Resthaven, you will follow resident care plans, oversee Resident Aide staff, and hire/train new employees!</p> <p>What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deliver compassionate, high-quality care aligned with each resident's personalized service plan. </li><li>Observe and document resident behaviors, symptoms, and health changes thoroughly and accurately. </li><li>Administer treatments and nursing interventions as directed. </li><li>Lead, mentor, and support Resident Aides, ensuring alignment with care goals. </li><li>Coordinate staffing coverage and contribute to performance evaluations and development. </li><li>Interview potential Resident Aide candidates and train new hires. </li><li>Conduct 1-on-1 meetings with staff members for performance reviews and/or corrective actions. </li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations. </li><li>Communicate effectively with physicians, home health agencies, families, and internal teams. </li><li>Manage medication ordering and distribution, lab draws, and follow-up procedures. </li><li>Support resident transitions (admissions/discharges) and provide comprehensive shift hand-offs. </li><li>Participate in the clinical on-call rotation and assist with ongoing clinical education. </li><li>Foster a positive, growth-oriented environment where staff feel empowered and engaged. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualities We Value</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication </li><li>Clinical knowledge with a resident-first mindset </li><li>Experience in elder care and/or dementia care a plus </li><li>Collaborative, solution-focused team player </li><li>Ability to lead with empathy and professionalism </li><li>Proficient with computers and electronic health records </li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently </li><li>Calm and resourceful in emergency situations </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience, Certifications & Requirements</p> <ul> <li>LPN or RN license preferred BUT not required, or a bachelor's in a health-related field </li><li>Prior assisted living experience strongly preferred </li><li>Commitment to attending in-service trainings and team meetings </li><li>Flexibility to work weekends and holidays </li><li>Uphold confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism at all times </li></ul> <p>Why Join Resthaven?</p> <p>A supportive and mission-driven work culture</p> <p>Opportunities for growth, leadership, and development</p> <p>A chance to make a real impact in the lives of residents every day</p> <p>Resthaven's Mission Statement: To glorify God by providing a continuum of quality care and services that demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.</p>
