We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.</p> <p>Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Field Service Technician will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of vertical turbine pumps, centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>All brands of centrifugal & vertical turbine pumps </li><li>Positive displacement pumps </li><li>Gear pumps </li><li>Diaphragm pumps </li><li>H-Pumps </li><li>API pumps </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years pump experience </li><li>Experience with rotating equipment repair </li><li>Limited electrical license and/or knowledge of electrical understanding to include taking readings for voltage, amperage in a three-phase system and using a meter to meg motor windings </li><li>Laser alignment skills and knowledge of vibration analysis are pluses </li><li>Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines </li><li>Must be willing to work off-site as well as the shop </li><li>Experience with vibration and alignment tools </li><li>Must have your own hand tools </li><li>Must have good communication skills, professional appearance and technical aptitude </li><li>Responsible to complete all tasks from installation, startup, scheduled maintenance, functional & performance testing, training, project closeout, and warranty transition </li><li>Check all equipment after installation and prior to start-up of pumps and associated equipment within the allotted time and in a professional manner </li><li>Get service reports signed by appropriate company representative before leaving location </li><li>Works with customer to understand equipment issues, troubleshoot and diagnose root-cause problems, and arranges necessary parts and service to resolve issues </li><li>Ability to train operators and engineering staff on various pumps and systems - includes on site and classroom setting - 1-25 people. </li><li>Must have good user knowledge of Laptops, Ipads, electronic programs such as the MS office suite, outlook email, PDF and document preparation and reporting </li><li>Communicate relevant customer comments, inquiries, questions or concerns to appropriate DXP personnel </li><li>Be familiar and knowledgeable on all DXP products </li><li>Positively represent DXP when on location by having proper PP and a professional appearance </li><li>Be available for after-hours field service when needed </li><li>Ensure a safe working environment, help others succeed, and other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Pay: $38.00 - $42.00/hr </li><li>Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Working Conditions: Outside field jobs; extreme cold/heat </li><li>Training/Certifications: Any pump certifications </li><li>Shift Time/Overtime: 40 hours a week with overtime as needed; will be placed on an on-call schedule once trained </li><li>Travel: As needed; acceptable driving record according to company guidelines; company vehicle </li><li>Education: High School Diploma required </li></ul> <p>Location: USA:WA:Ridgefield</p> <p>DXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
