<p>Propelis is looking for a Painter to prepare, paint, and finish cabinets to achieve high-quality, durable, and visually consistent results.</p> <p>Hours: Tuesday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Pay: $24 - $26 / hour</p> <p>This role onsite in Tigard, OR.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and filling imperfections </li><li>Apply primers, paints, stains, and sealers using spray equipment or hand tools </li><li>Match colors, stains, and finishes to specifications or customer requirements </li><li>Inspect surfaces between coats and perform touch-ups as needed </li><li>Maintain spray booths, tools, and finishing equipment </li><li>Follow proper drying, curing, and handling procedures </li><li>Follow safety guidelines for handling chemicals, paints, and equipment </li><li>Keep work area clean and organized </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or </li><li>Cabinetry painting experience </li><li>Industrial spray finishing experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The U.S. pay range for this position is $24 - $26 USD hourly.
