Learn more about us at worcester.edu/about .</p> <p>Job Description: Department: Urban Action Institute Job Title: Housing Insecurity Number of Vacancies: 4 SSTA Supervisor: Yeruksew Hoyt-Rouse Position Type: Non-Supervisory Number of Hours Per Week: 4-6</p> <p>General Statement of Duties:</p> <p>This position helps to support the Urban Action Institute's various initiatives surrounding the topic of housing insecurity. This includes assisting with researching, and compiling reports, planning events, etc.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assist with the implementation of housing justice summit and other housing insecurity related initiatives the Urban Action Institute (UAI) is working on. Assist with gathering of information needed to implement and report on different programs, especially as related to housing and other basic needs security. Assist in the preparation of all events, initiatives and other activities Connect with other offices and departments to promote UAI programs Assist with general tasks that support the UAI</p> <p>Requirements: Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)</p> </li><li> <p>Motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li></ol> <p>Additional Information: Worcester State University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer which seeks to reflect the diversity of its community.</p> <ul> <li>This position is available for WSU students only* </li></ul> <p>Hourly Rate: $15.00</p> <p>Application Instructions: Students must apply online.
