<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Techno-Functional Consultant (SAP Financials/AI) in Chicago, IL.</p> <p>Summary: We are seeking a Senior Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Financials and strong business acumen to lead the enablement of AI and intelligent automation within the cash application and related finance processes. This role will serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and a systems integration (SI) partner, guiding the implementation of AI capabilities in alignment with enterprise goals. This is a business-facing, hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who understands both the functional depth of SAP and the transformative potential of AI in finance operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Act as a liaison between business teams and the SI partner to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines </li><li>Lead discovery and fit-gap analysis sessions to identify areas within cash application and financial processes suitable for AI integration </li><li>Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, success criteria, and AI use cases </li><li>Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for AI integration within the SAP S/4HANA or ECC landscape </li><li>Evaluate and advise on relevant AI/ML tools, platforms, or SAP capabilities </li><li>Oversee solution design, data readiness, testing strategy, and change management in collaboration with the SI </li><li>Provide thought leadership on best practices for AI in finance and monitor trends in intelligent automation </li><li>Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and align with IT architecture and data governance standards* 8+ years of experience in SAP FI (Finance) </li><li>Proven experience in techno-functional consulting, particularly within SAP ecosystems </li><li>Hands-on exposure or conceptual understanding of AI/ML technologies and how they apply to finance operations </li><li>Experience collaborating with SI partners or external vendors in large-scale system transformation or implementation projects </li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills </li></ul>
