<p>Job Description</p> <p>Returning UsersLog Back In</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 for Yale New Haven Hospital-York St. in New Haven, CT</p> <p>Yale New Haven Hospital is a non-profit, 1500 bed acute care facility located in New Haven, CT. Sodexo provides food and nutrition services across 6 retail locations and room service patient dining for 1,000 beds on the York Street Campus.</p> <p>As Retail Manager 2, this position will report to the Food Operations Manager, manage a team of approximately 20 staff, and be responsible for supporting operations out of our East Pavilion Cafe. This cafe offers dining for patients, guests and staff 7 days per week, 365 days per year from 6a - 8p. Services include a salad bar, Tex Mex cuisine, global dining, pizza, deli and comfort meal selections.</p> <p>Must have prior retail operations/food management experience in a healthcare setting.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>We are looking for candidates who will manage:</p> <ul> <li>frontline staff; </li><li>cash handing process; </li><li>department HACCP and safety programs for regulatory compliance; </li><li>frontline training programs; </li><li>opening and closing the operation; and </li><li>daily operation standards </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
