<p>You'll work on key projects, maintain databases, review documents, and support a collaborative legal team. This is a 12-month, full-time opportunity offering hybrid flexibility, professional mentorship, and valuable exposure to legal and compliance functions in a mission-driven environment.</p> <ul> <li>Help with special projects in support of HR Legal compliance processes </li><li>Maintenance of legal databases and electronic and paper files </li><li>Prompt, quality response to customer requests and research inquiries </li><li>Reviewing legal documents for compliance, preparing reports, summarizing data </li><li>Provides day-to-day support on a wide variety of matters for the Director HR Legal Services, the Compliance Manager, and the Compliance Specialist </li><li>Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program, or a recent graduate (within previous 12 months) </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive, confidential material required </li><li>Demonstrated computer skills with significant experience in spreadsheet, database, presentation, word processing, and e-mail software products </li><li>Excellent writing, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills; </li><li>Work well in a team environment and promote the standards and teachings of the Church in the work setting; </li><li>Ability to analyze and document complex legal situations and effectively explain them to others; </li><li>Demonstrated initiative to complete projects and stay on task; </li><li>Demonstrated attention to detail and experience in research; </li><li>Experience in a legal setting helpful but not required (training will be provided) </li><li>Must be able to quickly learn complex processes </li><li>Former work with Form I-9s highly preferred </li></ul>
