Please note that the need for teachers of specific courses outlined in the posting is contingent upon enrollment.</p> <p>Position Title: Tuition Summer School Teachers</p> <p>Position Reports To: Director of the Tuition Summer School Program</p> <p>Job ID: #2311</p> <p>Internal Close Date: June 5, 2025</p> <p>External Close Date: June 19, 2025</p> <p>Anticipated Start Date: June 23, 2025</p> <p>Required Certifications & Qualifications</p> <p>State of Connecticut Teaching Certificate in the Subject Area Applying</p> <p>Essential Performance Responsibilities</p> <p>Watertown Public Schools is seeking dynamic certified teachers with demonstrated commitment to the development of all children and flexibility in working with students on credit recovery; Previous experience teaching in the high school summer school will be considered:</p> <p>1 Middle School Teacher 1 English Teacher 2 Mathematics Teachers</p> <p>1 Social Studies Teacher 1 World Language Teacher 1 Science Teacher</p> <p>Please indicate your preference for assignment on application.</p> <p>Terms of Employment</p> <p>There will be one planning day on June 20, 2025 from 8:00-11:00 AM at $27 per hour.</p> <p>Required daily attendance from 8:00-11:15 AM starting Monday, June 23, 2025 through Friday, July 11, 2025 (no school on July 4); $1,100 per instructional block. Availability/number of positions subject to student registration.
