<p>ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Prepares tooling by studying Work Order, Quality Envelop, Specification Drawings, Production Part; gathering tooling, parts, tools and materials. </li><li>Ensure all Tooling is properly stamped with CR# before releasing Tool to Production. </li><li>Lift, position, and secure tooling on carts or work tables, using cranes/hoist. </li><li>Review and maintain any required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders. </li><li>Strong knowledge to perform Tool Inspections and preparation, knowledge of Tool Install of Forming Station, Trim Station, Strip Station, Stacker Station and Tool Removal. </li><li>Performs post production tooling inspections and locate to proper area; repair or storage. </li><li>Performs minor repairs to tooling and equipment. </li><li>Assist in the overall maintenance of the Pre-Staging equipment. </li><li>Verifies specifications by measuring completed part and/or tooling using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure and dial indicators. </li><li>Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances of tooling and equipment, based on specifications. </li><li>Keeps equipment operation by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. </li><li>Demonstrated ability for maintaining maximum utilization/up time on machinery in assigned areas. </li><li>Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. </li><li>Assure that master tooling is properly labeled and segregated for ease of accessibility. </li><li>Communicate any production issues to next shift Process Technician for Pre-Staging. </li><li>Assist on-the-job training and coaching as needed. </li><li>Immediately take corrective action for any machine stoppage; notify Supervisor and request maintenance assistance in the event of serious problems with machinery of parts and assist in problem solving if other personnel are required. </li><li>Recognizes and corrects safety hazards as they are identified. </li><li>Maintain assigned zone in a clean and orderly condition; follow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tagout, GMP practices to meet company standards. </li><li>Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES</p> <ul> <li>Exemplify Rohrer's Core Value's </li><li>Mechanical abilities and knowledge of the thermoforming machine operation. </li><li>Capable of lifting an average of 75 lbs. </li><li>Capable of solving problems and making quick decisions. </li><li>Strong skills in interacting and directing the work of others. </li><li>Ability to look at data and configure any problems that may approach. </li><li>Excellent organization, communication, and comprehensive skills. </li><li>Adequate math skills. </li><li>Sense of leadership attributes. </li><li>Ability to be on feet the majority of the work day. </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE</p> <ul> <li>2:00PM - 10:00PM, Monday - Friday </li></ul> <p>Compensation for this position is $20-$23.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job related factors.
