That is where you come in!</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>A Product Owner ensures that the product, application, or system being built aligns with customer needs and business goals. They manage the product backlog and work closely with the development team, acting as a bridge between business strategy and execution.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring Alignment with Business Goals: ensure the product being developed aligns with the overall business strategy and objectives. </li><li>Prioritizing Features: determine the order in which backlog items are developed based on business value, customer needs, and other factors. </li><li>Managing the Scope, Product Backlog, and Change Requests: create, maintain, and prioritize the scope and product backlog, which includes features, user stories, and change requests. </li><li>Gathering and Understanding Business Requirements: work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable items for the development team. </li><li>Working with the Development Team: collaborate closely with the development team, providing clarity on requirements, answering questions, and making decisions during development iterations. </li><li>Facilitating Communication: act as a liaison between the development team, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the product development lifecycle. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like CSPO are a plus. </li><li>812 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Agile teams. </li><li>Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). </li><li>Proven ability to manage product backlogs, write user stories, and prioritize features. </li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Gross Salary Ranage (including bonuses): $150K to $160K yearly + Nagarro Benefits </li><li>This position is hybrid in NYC. </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: Nagarro is an equal opportunity employer.
