Within the role, the Quality Specialist analyzes documentation and determines compliance and performs statistical process evaluations. This position requires strong attention to detail, strong decision-making skills as well as the ability to work independently</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Analyzes product documentation, both written and through database tools, to determine compliance to customer specifications via multiple support tools </li></ul> </li><li>*Performs statistical process evaluations based upon department requests </li><li>*Interfaces with manufacturing, management, and customer representatives professionally and respectfully </li><li>*Follows verbal and written instruction, accepts increased responsibility and is accountable for his/her actions </li><li>Audits the work of others in a professional manner </li><li>Possesses a quality conscious awareness and assists in updating department documentation </li><li>*Adheres to the safety and quality standards (goals and metrics) of the organization while working within a team environment </li><li>Promotes job and process improvement as it relates to the department (through Lean Manufacturing as well as other improvement initiatives </li><li>Responds to multiple production assignments in a timely and efficient manner </li><li>Meets required training criteria such as IPC-610 and JSTD when requested </li><li>Overtime may be required, based on business need; regular attendance required </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
